Setting your availability

Help venues know when you can play

How it works

  1. 1

    Set weekly defaults

Choose which days of the week you're generally available and set your typical time windows (e.g. Fri & Sat, 9pm–3am).

  2. 2

    Save your weekly defaults

Tap Save weekly defaults to keep your pattern. It repeats every week until you change it, so venues can see you.

  3. 3

    Override specific dates

On the Calendar tab, choose Available, Blocked or Clear, then tap a plain date to set it. Use Edit times & note for that date to add detail.

  4. 4

Make a date your weekly default

In a date's editor, choose Set as [weekday] default. Open Weekly defaults and tap Save weekly defaults to keep it.

  5. 5

    Optional: share publicly

Use Show on public profile under Who can see your availability to let new venues see when you're free.

Pro tip: A basic weekly pattern gives bookers useful availability context before they send an offer.

Pro tip: Add a note to dates you really want gigs on. Bookers see your notes when considering you for slots.

Pro tip: Switch to Week or Day view to see your availability as time blocks alongside confirmed gigs, which is great for spotting gaps and overlaps.

Pro tip: Drag across days in Month view or hours on the Week and Day timelines to set a range. Tap a plain date in Month or portrait Week view to set the chosen status.

Pro tip: Use the From and To fields to fine-tune a date's hours, and + Add another window when you have two free periods.

Pro tip: Overnight windows (e.g. 10pm–2am) are supported. The editor knows they span midnight.

In detail

Your availability shows bookers when you're free to play. They can compare it with their open roster slots before sending an offer. There are two layers to availability: Weekly defaults set your recurring pattern. For example, "Available Friday and Saturday nights, 8pm–2am." These repeat every week automatically, so you set them once and they keep working. Date overrides let you adjust specific dates. Going on holiday? Block out those dates. Free on a Tuesday you'd normally be busy? Mark it available. Overrides always take priority over weekly defaults. Use the note field to add context, for example "Really want this night!" or "Only after 10pm". Bookers see your notes when considering you for slots. Bookers see each date as Available, Blocked, or Not Set alongside their open roster slots. The status gives them context; the booker still decides whether to send an offer. Three views, each suited to different tasks: Month view is the big picture. It shows the whole month as a grid where each day is colour-coded (green for available, pink for blocked, grey for not set). Pick Available, Blocked or Clear, then tap a plain day or drag across days to set that status. Tap a day with set times or a note to edit it. This is the best view for planning ahead: blocking out holidays, marking available weekends, or getting a feel for how your month looks. Week view shows your week as a paintable day-list in portrait, or as 7 vertical timelines on a wider screen. Your availability appears as coloured blocks with any confirmed gigs shown alongside. This is where you see exactly how your available hours relate to your booked gigs, so you can spot gaps, overlaps, or double-bookings at a glance. Day view zooms into a single day with a detailed timeline. Drag on the timeline to set a time window, or tap an existing block to edit that date. This is the best view for fine-tuning specific days. In a date's editor, set the From and To times for the hours you're free. Use + Add another window if you're available for more than one period on the same day (e.g. 12pm–3pm and 9pm–2am). Painting sets the status you've picked. In Month view, tap a plain day or drag across days. In Week's portrait list, tap a day; on the Week and Day timelines, drag across hours to set a time window. To add times or a note after tapping a plain day, choose Edit times & note for that day. The calendar updates as you go. Your weekly defaults repeat every week until you change them. Override specific dates by clicking them on the calendar. Default dates show with a dashed border so you can tell them apart from explicit overrides. To use a date's settings as your recurring pattern for that weekday, choose Set as [weekday] default in its editor. Then open Weekly defaults and tap Save weekly defaults to keep the change. Optionally, you can share your availability publicly on your profile page. This lets new venues check your schedule before reaching out.
