In detail
**Free for all artists during the beta period.** During beta, the full invoicing toolkit below is available to every artist account at no cost. After beta, Artist Free includes your first two invoices; Artist Pro adds unlimited invoicing, invoice reports and financial-year exports.
You can generate professional invoices directly from your confirmed gigs and review what you have invoiced over time. Everything is designed to save you time, most of the invoice is auto-filled from your booking data.
When you create an invoice, Gig Pool pulls in the venue details, space, date, set time, and any agreed rate. Review each set and enter a fee if none was agreed. You can add extras (like travel or equipment) before generating a professional PDF to email to the venue.
Your invoice settings, including your Australian Business Number (ABN), Goods and Services Tax (GST) registration where relevant, banking details and payment terms, are saved in your profile and applied to each new invoice. Review them when your business details change.
The Invoicing page reports invoices by invoice date. Drafts are excluded from invoiced value, and void invoices are counted separately. Track invoices you send and mark them paid when payment arrives. Paid markers are private to you. Gig Pool doesn’t process or check payments. Use your bank or accounting records for income received and tax reporting.
Gig Pool's subscription and Event Pass prices are total prices in AUD. Gig Pool is not registered for Australian GST, so its receipts do not show a GST breakdown. Artist invoices separately follow the country, registration details and rate the artist provides.
Gig Pool supports Artist and Booker invoices for Australia and New Zealand, after you confirm your currency, tax registration and rate. For other countries, declare your currency, tax name, rate and required fields in Account settings. Existing country suggestions are editable starting points. Gig Pool enables these settings and does not certify them; you remain responsible for the tax treatment and records. If your declaration requires supply dates, add an actual date to every invoice line before sending. The invoice stores and prints the latest line date, and a missing date is named beside the send controls.
You can export up to 200 invoices at once as a ZIP file from the Invoicing page, or export the current financial year as a smaller archive. Each invoice is a PDF grouped by financial year, making it easy to hand over to your accountant at tax time. If one selection contains more than 200 invoices, Gig Pool creates no partial file and tells you how to request a complete export.
The financial-year view has a matching CSV export. The invoice ZIP buttons are separate: they download the issued PDF records themselves, grouped by invoice date, and remain available even if Artist Pro access lapses.
These are the invoices you send to venues for your gigs. Your own Gig Pool billing history (your Artist Pro subscription invoices) is separate and lives on your artist account page, in the “Billing history” section, with a Download link on each row.
